Where We Began...

PolaPaws came to be in 1999, but we've lived with Mallies since 1997. Where does the time go? As many of you would know, when you own an intelligent and challenging breed, you go looking for a different type of product - something to keep them interested and motivated, stop them choosing the chair or table to chew, or just walk calmly on a lead. It is this that has lead us to many of the products we sell today.

Not only did we find that these products were in demand from Malamute owners, but there were many other breed owners out there that loved these products too. These days it's not just Siberian Huskies or Alaskan Malamutes you see at sled dog events, but breeds like Border Collies to Great Danes!

All pet owners are out there looking to spend their dollars on a product that is high quality and Australian made in many cases.

Where Are We Going...

PolaPaws is now producing some of our own products like our range of natural, healthy pet treats. We found that many treats were either imported or full of cereals, grains, colours and preservatives - so now we have our own treats that we are happy to feed our own dogs. Popular treats like Dried Lamb Puff that is easy to use with our positive training methods, or Beef Whizzers that keep a dog occupied a little longer than some other treats.

PolaPaws still chooses to use Windchill Dog Gear and Black Dog Wear on our dogs. We have been using these products almost since PolaPaws began.

The road ahead for PolaPaws keeps winding along and opening us up to other new products like New Zealand's Ziwi Peak. What better product to add to a natural raw diet than this! It's easy to use and perfect for those camping holidays when other natural raw alternatives can be challenging to keep cool.
